Possible Casino Fix (IDEA)

Before I begin, I apologize to all of the casino owners around Growtopia. I'm only posting this as a way to better improve Growtopia.

Let's begin by asking ourselves "how do casinos operate?"

Typically, with the use of roulette wheel, dice blocks, gem drops, and/or seed/block drops when punching a block.

Well, how do we fix it?

It's pretty simple. When punching a roulette wheel, the number you get is displayed publicly to everyone. Make it so only the person who punched the wheel gets a message from system, and nobody else can see it besides themselves. If not, just remove it's ability to display a number whatsoever. The same goes for the dice blocks.

When gem drops from a block, make it so the gems automatically go into your inventory, rather than dropping in the world. Same with the blocks and seed. However, show a warning when the player has 200+ of a seed or block of the item they are currently breaking.

There still lies an issue with the roulette wheel and the dice blocks though. The owner can just punch for both players. To fix this, add a timer on how often your able to punch the wheel (lets say example 10 minutes, you have to wait 10 minutes before your able to punch the wheel again). This will delay and make it a hassle for casino owners.

To note, these changes cannot fully fix casinos as a whole. There is literally no way to fully beat gambling. As the saying goes, if you can't beat them, join them.

Why did we truly remove casinos? To limit scams. How to fix this while still having casinos in the game? Make it yourself. Similar to a trade system, players are able to "bet" items by pressing the wrench button with another player and they are able to place items to bet with others. Then they can choose what to play with the other player in a gambling UI (Ex. BJ, HTW, QQ, Reme, etc).

We can use this feature to combat inflation as well. Add a tax system, where a certain % of the world locks gambled gets deleted out of the game when a bet is over a certain amount.

Note: I apologize if what I said does not work or does not make sense. It made sense in my head while I was typing this.

From what I’ve seen, the real problem isn’t the mechanics; it’s the gambling addiction that pulls people in. Maybe cranking up the bans for people caught in casino worlds would actually make a difference—like, a 7-day ban isn’t much, but 30 days or more?
If people want to gamble, they’ll always find a way—Discord, websites, whatever. Some might even go for legit options like ***** instead of messing around in a game that’s not built for this stuff.
