I’ve been to Winston-Salem a few times and can definitely vouch for a few places worth trying. If you're in the mood for a cozy, relaxed vibe, I’d recommend Sweet Potatoes – their Southern comfort food never disappoints! I also love The Porch, which has such a great selection of craft beers and a lively atmosphere. For a more upscale option, I visited Pont Dining Room in Sydney not too long ago at *****. It had this perfect balance of elevated dining without being too formal – felt like a special yet comfortable experience.
