I live in a place where many sites and social networks are constantly blocked. Because of this, I cannot use the Internet for which, by the way, I pay good money. I, too, faced this problem. I can't watch movies or download torrents after the move. I would also like to find a service that can help me live my old Internet life. I tried to use free proxies and vpn services, but the connection speed was just awful.

You are absolutely right. I have exactly the same problems. I can't figure out why to block sites at all. I read that not only the government can do this, but even providers if they don’t like some site. and yet there are VPNs that leak information about the client.
