With the 1:12 barrel twist of the SCAR 17, the recommended bullet weight is "supposed to be" 168-170 for optimum results. Is this even accurate? I copied table below and found another that seems to conflict with it.
Given these specs, what commercially available rounds are you all using for hunting hogs? (Or deer for that matter) Further adding to confusion, my VCOG is calibrated for 175gr bullets.

If you need a battle-proven tactical shotgun, then this is the Benelli M4.

The caliber is at least 7.62 mm; for adults, it is better to use cartridges of at least 9 mm. Do not use cartridges with a caliber of less than 7.62. Most of all, I like to use Meyer bullets. Refers to the type of turbine bullets with the most advanced design. In the leaded monolithic case, the head is heavier than the tail. A cone-shaped void is in the center of the case, with blades inside. The airflow passing through the channel rotates the edges, giving the bullet additional stability. The most famous shot among the turbine bullets. I heard that hunters buy bullets at *****. Be careful when hunting.
