It will continue to be like that, because valuable knowledge is expensive. You can’t expect to sell valuable knowledge with the measly ad revenue or paywalls generated today. Are there enough people willing to pay a company $1000 per month for quality news with absolutely no bias and tons of gold nuggets of wisdom? Of course not, many people can barely afford college tuition and new textbooks! They would likely lose money. Mostly businesses are the ones willing to pay the right prices for high quality consultants. Even Harvard can’t afford peer-reviewed journal publisher prices, and they have the largest university endowments in the world.
