as I am probably going to invest into Infinity pretty soon, one problem remains : I don't have a readilly available 4x4 gaming table. Our diner table would be large enough, but it's almost never empty and I would never be able to leave the "play area" for long (I have 2 young daughters...).
Hence, ideally I am looking for something portable : either a kind of folding table or a kind of big and solid "mat" that I could move around and store away easily when I am not playing.

Many people prefer hybrid tables at which you can stand or sit, it's very convenient. Don't forget to consider this option when you buy a table.

I don't trust folding tables, because I think they are not strong and stable enough for a computer and other equipment that I put on the table. However, if you really need compactness, then just buy a small table instead of a folding one. Also, many gamers prefer hand-made tables that they buy to order from some woodworker or from companies like *****. I would also not refuse such a table, but they are very expensive and their cost varies from one thousand dollars. Perhaps in the future I will spare money and buy such a table, it's really worth every cent invested in it, but in the meantime I have things to invest money in and I can't afford such a chic table.
