Data from China Customs shows that in 2021, ***** imported various types of crane equipment from China worth US$5.32 million, an increase of 90.68% compared with the total import value of US$2.795 million in 2020. From the time line, Ghana will have an explosive growth in November 2021, and the monthly import value will account for 36.09% of the total import value of the whole year. As for whether the crane market in Ghana will maintain rapid growth in the future, the situation is not so optimistic in the view of Dongqi Crane. Data from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce shows that the bilateral import and export volume of goods between China and Ghana in 2021 will be US$9,570.14 million, an increase of US$1,073.0714 million compared with the same period in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 12.2%. Clearly, the growth in demand for Chinese cranes in Ghana in 2021 may not be replicated.
